Where it started How Little Surprises began
It started at a dining table in Lahore, wrapping boxes for friends and family. A cousin's new baby, a neighbour's aqeeqah, a first birthday two streets away. Small orders, made one at a time, for people we already knew.
Then the photographs started going around. Someone would post the box they had been handed, tag us, and a message would arrive the same evening asking if we could do one with a different name. That is still how most people find us — a friend of a friend on Instagram who was given a box and kept it.
We have grown slowly and on purpose. These days boxes go out to Karachi, Islamabad and towns we have never visited, but they are still packed by the same few pairs of hands they always were.
“Turning your special moments into keepsake surprises.” It is the line we started with, and it still decides what we say yes to.
What we stand for
Four things decide how a box gets made here. They are not slogans — each one costs us something, which is how we know we mean them.
The name comes first
Personalisation is not an upgrade on this site, it is the product. Name printing is included in the price of every box and it always has been. You tell us the spelling exactly as you want it and that is what goes on the lid.
Before anything is printed you get a digital proof on WhatsApp. Nothing goes to press until you have looked at it and told us the spelling is right — a name printed wrong is not a box we are willing to send.
Made by hand
Nothing here comes off a machine. The jute twine is measured and cut to length. The teddies and bees are punched out, sorted, and clipped on one at a time with miniature wooden pegs. The satin is tied, not stapled.
Forty boxes takes a morning. We have never found a faster way that we were happy to put a family's name on.
Made to be kept
A keepsake, not wrapping to throw away. The sweets inside are finished in an afternoon; the box is meant to outlast them — rigid card, a printed name, a lid that still closes properly a year later.
The nicest thing anyone tells us is that the box is still on a shelf, holding hospital tags and first photographs.
Small on purpose
We stay small so that every box gets looked at before it is closed. Orders are taken in batches we can actually finish properly, and when a week is full we say so rather than rush somebody's aqeeqah or shadi.
It means we are not the biggest studio in Lahore. It also means you are talking to the people making your boxes, not a queue.
How a box is made
From the first message to the delivery rider, this is the whole process — there is nothing hidden in the middle of it.
Step one
You choose the box
Pick the size, the colour and the theme — teddy, bumble bee, florals or gingham.
Step two
You send the details
The name spelled exactly as you want it, the date, and a short message if you would like one.
Step three
We send a proof
A digital proof reaches you on WhatsApp. Nothing is printed until you approve the spelling.
Step four
We make and deliver
Assembled by hand and delivered across Pakistan, usually within 7–10 days.

The price is the price
Name printing is part of what you pay for, not an extra line at checkout. What you are quoted is what you are charged.
The date is kept
We only take on what we can finish. If your occasion is close, we will tell you honestly whether we can make it.
